Hello Lovelies! I hope your having a great week thus far. Nothing much to report this week. Oh, I passed my last chapter test on Natural Services with an A! This week we’ll be going over Chemistry and it’s a good thing this chapter isn’t that long.
Things are going pretty smooth for me and I’m still very excited about going to class everyday. Our class works on the floor on Wednesday’s, Thursday’s and some Saturday’s until the full time class leaves in a week or so, after that we will be on the floor every Saturday. I’ve done a couple more manicures and pedicures and some polish changes in the past week. We were supposed to get our kits after completing forty hours of the manicure program but we haven’t received them yet, urrrrrr! Most of the class can’t wait to get our kits. I’ll be sure to post pictures of my nail kit.
In one or two weeks, we should get into acrylics and I’m really looking forward to that. I plan on purchasing a Gina Wallace Trainer Hand so I can get plenty of practice. In doing my research, I’ve found that it takes doing about twenty full sets of acrylics before becoming good. With the trainer hand, I can practice as many times as I want and when I want so I’m really looking forward to that.
